Brick Cleaning  - Sandblasting / Gritblasting can be used to remove layers of paint and/or cementitious coatings. The blasting process will give a keyed area perfect for rendering
For brick cleaning projects where the brick needs to be restored we use the JOS/TORC system, this method will gently clean the face of the bricks without damaging it or removing the pointing.

Metal Cleaning - Blast Cleaning can be used to remove layers of paint or corrosion from different steel surfaces.The area will be left ready for repainting.

Blasting Methods:

Sand Blasting, Sandblasting: compressed air propels very fine bits of material at high-velocity to clean or etch a surface.Sand was used in the past for this process,but inhalation of dust particles causes silicosis and other materials are now used in its place, for example copper slag and powdered abrasives. The sandblasting process is carefully controlled, using an alternate air supply,proper ventilation and protective wear. Wet blasting can also me used for non metal surfaces.Sandblasting as a cleaning method has been used for over a hundred years.

Shot Blasting, Shotblasting: compressed air propels small steel balls of various diameters,silicon carbide granules etc,at high-velocity to clean a surface.

Calcium Carbonate Blasting: compressed air propels a calcium carbonate compound, at low pressure mixed with a small amount of water to clean a surface. The process is 100 % environmentally friendly.
